It's spoof talent-show time! Shooting Stars become contestants and performers in “The Halloween Factor” — a fun, funny, X-Factor-style talent show run entirely by monsters, witches and ghouls. In small teams, the children invent their own Halloween act: a zombie boy-band, a vampire girl-group, a mummy comedy duo, a witches' dance crew, or a monster mash-up ensemble — whatever suits their group. Throughout the day they'll develop their characters, choreograph a routine or sketch, rehearse as an ensemble, and build towards a big final “show night” performance, complete with a host, judges' segment and a group finale number that brings every act together. This fun-filled holiday camp will run from 9am - 3pm at Kingsdown Methodist Church.
