The Heart of Egan Performing Arts
My Journey to EPA
Growing up in Cheshire, I attended Stagecoach Theatre Arts and Love to Dance school from age 13 - I know first-hand the confidence and joy that performing arts brings.
My passion led me to:
• BA Theatre Studies - Lancaster University
• MA Dance Theatre Practice - Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA)
• PGCE: Dance and Drama (First Class) - Liverpool Hope University
• MA Drama Education - Middlesex University
• 12 years teaching - Head of Performing Arts at a central London secondary school, lead Drama teacher across the Ark network
I started Egan Performing Arts just after lockdown lifted, beginning with just one class so I could keep doing what I love while my two little boys were little. It's been a joy to watch my business grow alongside my children, and I'm so lucky to have met all the wonderful people who come to dance with us.
What Makes EPA Different
At EPA, we believe everyone develops at their own pace. While our classes are technical and full of content, the most important thing is that everyone enjoys themselves in the process. We've become a real community - testament to the inclusive nature of all EPA classes.
